Every sponsor who participates in the Sponsor A Highway Program deserves special recognition for their involvement and dedication to the community. We try to provide additional recognition for our newer sponsors by doing “Sponsor Spotlights” on our company blog, but we’d like to take some time to recognize some of our deeply involved sponsors who have really made their mark on the community through their individual business practices, as well as through the Sponsor A Highway Program.

Below are the Top 5 Sponsors making an impact in Maryland!

5.) LEDO Pizza

LEDO Pizza has been serving up fresh, handmade pizzas since 1955 and the legacy lives on today as the families that created the original LEDO Pizza, have now passed the traditions on to other families in new areas. Now boasting nearly 100 locations, these franchises continue to uphold the extremely high standards that made LEDO Pizza famous and we’re lucky to have them as a sponsor in the MD Sponsor A Highway Program!

This famous pizza restaurant has been a favorite spot for local residents for years. With their fresh handmade dough, high quality cheese and tomatoes, and its signature square shape, LEDO Pizza has everything to offer these dedicated pizza lovers.

In addition, LEDO Pizza has played a great part in the local University of Maryland community and has since expanded its impact to help the greater metropolitan areas around it as well. Donating thousands of dollars each year through fundraisers isn’t even the half of it… LEDO Pizza is also actively involved in a number of different programs like:

• The Act Local Program benefiting the Pediatrics Unit at Anne Arundel Medical Center

• Hosting benefits for National Autism Awareness Month with Project Lifesaver

• Relay For Life, providing additions to school playgrounds

• Donating educational toys and games for Children’s Centers

• Organizing MS Walk Fundraisers

LEDO Pizza has been a sponsor in the program since its inception in 2006 holding down 4 signs that have contributed to litter removal along their sponsored roadways for the last 8 years; just one more way that LEDO Pizza is making a difference in the community.

Thank you LEDO Pizza!
